Professionals always strive to improve in their field of work. They believe that this is what makes them ‘professionals’ and keeps their professional image. For example, a tester will spend a lot of efforts to improve in testing. Unfortunately, this is not 100% true. Improving only in field of work is not the end of the story. In other words, there are other areas in which you need to improve in order to keep your professional image. These areas include:
- Coming to office and meetings on time.
- Reading and replying to emails.
- Being organized.
- Being a straightforward person.
Failing or ignoring to improve in one of the above areas (and many others) will affect your professional image. In fact, you will not be considered a true professional unless you improve in them.
All the best…
